Hear the author talk about the autobiography of her growing-up years on Chicago’s Aldine Avenue—her walks to the lake with her father and journeys on buses and streetcars with her mother. Ms. Markbreit is the wife of Jerry Markbreit (who will be in attendance), a retired Big Ten and NFL football referee who is still head trainer for NFL referees.
