Learn how to grow vegetables and flowers in a straw bale and other containers, and how to compost organic materials without muss and fuss. Linda Kruhmin, Talking Farms* Operations Manager, will show you multiple uses of a straw bale.
This program will be held outdoors, on the west side of the Library. In the case of inclement weather, the program will be held in the Baxter Room.
*Talking Farms is a 2-acre demonstration farm on Howard Street, between McCormick and Crawford.
