Evanston Man Charged with Pimping, Beating 14-Year-Old

A 21-year-old Evanston man was charged with sexually assaulting and beating up a 14-year-old runaway whom he had taken to Evanston and forced into prostitution, according to an article in the Chicago Tribune. 

Donzell Mintz is being held on $600,000 bail. Prosecutors allege that he met the Chicago teenager in August and offered her a place to stay, according to the article. They moved to Evanston, where he assaulted her and forced her to sell drugs and work as a prostitute.
