Food for Fines

From Monday, July 10 to Sunday, July 23, the Morton Grove Public Library is sponsoring a Food for Fines program.

To participate in the program, you must adhere to the following:

• Every canned food item donated will equal $1.00 of overdue fines being waived.
• The program is limited to existing overdue fines, and cannot be used for lost materials charges, damage fees, processing fees, interlibrary loan fees, or as credit towards future fines.
• The library cannot accept home-canned items, cans that are past their expiration date or are dented or damaged.
