Gemini Jr. High McTeacher's Night Fundraiser

On Wednesday, October 21st, Gemini Jr. High held an extremely successful McTeacher’s Night at the McDonald’s in Niles on Milwaukee Ave., to raise money for the school. The Niles McDonald’s was full of families supporting the school and waiting to see Ronald McDonald.Teachers literally took over the restaurant serving up delicious meals to students and families to raise money for Gemini. The McTeacher jobs included; drive-thru teachers, greeters, front counter teachers, drink teachers, teachers clearing tables, teachers selling pies, and teachers in a pie costume. There were even teachers singing for tips. Lots of students, teachers, families and friends came out to support the school. All the kids came to see their teachers work at McDonald’s. A special appearance by Ronald McDonald made this a very memorable evening. McTeacher Turnbow worked hard all night. Special thank you goes to John Turnbow, who organized the entire event.
