Grandma Used Kids To Help Steal Goods: Cops
A driver on Dempster Road was charged with battery after police say she threw a bottle at someone during a traffic dispute.

Reckless Driving
Arshad Ali, 36, of the 6400 block of Hoffman Court was stopped for traveling in excess of 90 mph on Golf Road near Harms on Oct. 8 and was arrested for reckless driving.

Battery
Christina M. Casaccio, 29, of Chicago was charged with battery in the 6700 block of Dempster on Oct. 10 because she threw a water bottle and it hit the victim in the face. The suspect and the victim were in separate cars having a verbal disagreement in reference to the suspect being upset about the victim's driving.

Criminal Trespass to Motor Vehicle
Maurice D. Thomas, 18, of Chicago was arrested for criminal trespass to vehicle on Oct. 12 in the 6700 block of Dempster.
Retail Theft/ Delinquency Of a Minor
Michelle Stevenson, 48, of Chicago was charged on Oct. 12 with felony retail theft and contributing to the delinquency of a minor after she utilized her grandchildren to steal merchandise. The subsequent investigation by Morton Grove detectives resulted in arrests by multiple other agencies for other retail thefts.
Disorderly Conduct
Paul J. Grgurich, 53, of the 8500 block of Waukegan was issued a Morton Grove local ordinance citation for disorderly conduct for pushing a victim on Oct. 14.
Theft
The complainants in the 5500 block of Lincoln on Sept. 19 stated they purchased some lamps from the suspect and they never received them. They are unable to make contact with the suspect because he had not
called back and his voicemail box is full.
Burglary from Vehicle
A complainant in the 6400 block of Oakton on Oct. 9 stated someone had pushed in the locks to the passenger side door and the rear passenger side sliding door and tools were taken.
