While making an appointment (often available that same day), say what type of massage you want…that is, hard/vigorous kneading vs. softer/gentler movements, so you can be matched with the right masseuse.   During the massage itself, specify which areas hurt and which are off limits. Speak up if you’re cold, or something is painful; the staff (predominantly Eastern European women) should do their best to accommodate.

In the treatment room, you’ll be left alone to disrobe and lay your aching body on the table. The good part is about to begin. Soon, a pair of hands will relax the kinks and tension held in your body (ah, my armpits!); blessed relief – and sometimes sleep – will ensue.  Massages are 30, 60 or 90 minutes long.  Happily, prices are reasonable; their generous couponing (via the weekly value mailer or by signing up for their email specials) offers even better deals.  Tips are cash-only.
