Library Offers Free Financial Programs for Money Smart Week
The Niles Public Library District will be offering free financial education programs from April 22–May 1 for Chicago's Money Smart Week.

The Niles Public Library District will be offering free financial education programs from April 22–May 1 for Chicago’s Money Smart Week.
The Niles Public Library District and the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago are partnering to provide educational events that cover a wide variety of money-management topics including saving money and building wealth, homeowner tips, and retirement planning. Money Smart Week programs that the Library will offer are:
- Find Missing Money through I-Cash | Sat., Apr. 22, 9:30-10:30am
- Foundations of Investing | Sat., Apr. 22, 9:30-10:30am
- Start Saving for College Early | Sun., Apr. 23, 2-3pm
- Wills & Trusts | Mon., Apr. 24, 7-8:30pm
- Travel for Free (or Almost!) | Tues., Apr. 25, 7-8:30pm
- Senior Coffee Hour: Nutrition and Aging | Wed., Apr. 26, 10:30-11:30am
- Property Tax Appeal 101 | Thurs., Apr. 27, 6:30-8pm
- Retirement: Making Your Money Last | Sat., Apr. 29, 9:30-10:30am
- Homeowners Insurance Basics | Mon., May 1, 7-8pm

Niles Public Library District is located at 6960 W. Oakton St, the northeast corner of the Oakton and Waukegan intersection. Library hours are Monday through Thursday, 9am to 9pm, Friday, 9am to 7pm, Saturday, 9am to 5pm and Sunday, 1 to 5 pm.
