Maker Fest: Robots, Virtual Reality & More
The Niles-Maine District Library is hosting its Second Annual Maker Fest on Saturday, November 11 from 12-3:30pm.

Maker Fest celebrates arts, crafts, engineering, technology, and the DIY movement. It’s a free event and open to all ages.
More than 400 people attended last year’s inaugural event. Its success and interest in the community prompted the event committee to organize another exciting event with new additions. Maker Fest attendees will be able to tinker with hands-on activities and watch demonstrations which include:
• Robots in action

• A modeling clay project

• Collaborating on a wooden sculpture

• And much more!
Maker Fest features hobbyists, crafters, local businesses, and other DIYers in the community including The Home Depot, Art Station, BOT Spot Robots, Lurvey Garden Center & Landscape Supply, Wheel & Sprocket, and many more.

Niles-Maine District Library is located at 6960 Oakton Street, the northeast corner of the Oakton and Waukegan intersection. Library hours are Monday through Thursday, 9am to 9pm, Friday, 9am to 7pm, Saturday, 9am to 5pm and Sunday, 1 to 5 pm.
