On Tuesday, October 15th, Gemini Jr. High held a McTeacher's Night at the McDonald's on Dempster in Niles. Teachers took over the restaurant serving up delicious meals to students and families to raise money for the school. Twenty six teachers from Gemini worked hard all night. The McTeacher jobs included; drive-thru teachers, greeters, teachers cleaning the lobby, front counter teachers, drink teachers, teachers clearing tables, teachers on the ice cream machine, and teachers making smoothies. Gemini had it all covered, and the families all had a great time! Special thank you goes out to John Turnbow for organizing the Gemini McTeacher's Night.
The School plans to use the money raised to go into the Gemini fund for future programming. Lots of students, teachers, families and friends came out to support the school. It was an outstanding show of support. A special appearance by Ronald McDonald helped make this fundraiser a memorable evening.Families enjoyed taking pictures with and talking with Ronald McDonald. It was a great night!
