McFun for Washington McTeacher's

Washington School held a McTeacher's Night Fundraiser at the Niles McDonald's on Milwaukee Avenue

On Wednesday, May 20th, Washington School held a McTeacher’s Night fundraiser at the Niles McDonald’s on Milwaukee Ave.  Teachers took over the restaurant serving up delicious meals to students and families to raise money for the school.  The McTeacher jobs included;  drive-thru teachers, greeters, cleaning the lobby, front counter teachers, serving drinks, clearing tables and serving ice cream.  There were even teachers singing for tips!  Washington McTeachers  had it all covered and the families all had a great time.  The school plans to use the money raised to go into the PTO fund to support future programming.  Lots of students, teachers, families and friends came out to support their school.  All the kids came to see their teachers work at the NIles McDonald’s.  A special appearance by the Chicago Bulls Incredibulls made this a very memorable evening. Special thank you goes to PTO President and 2nd grade teacher, Jen McCoy, who organized the entire event.  It was a great night!  McTeacher’s Night was courtesy of the Nile McDonald’s owner/operator, Sue Conley.  For more information about events provided by the Niles McDonald’s, contact their Community Relations Director at Julie.travers@Comcast.net or visit their website at mcillin
