This year, some participating businesses include: Target, Panera, Kumon and Maine-Niles Association of Special Recreation.

The Teen Job Fair targets teens and new adults wanting to join the workforce and begin planning for their futures. Not only will they have access to hiring employers, they’ll also be able to participate in Connecting the Dots, an interactive workshop focusing on the path from school to a career.

“These programs are to help students start thinking about the connections between school, first jobs, college, and careers,” says Donna Block, Teen Services Librarian. “Our Connecting the Dots program is geared for grades 7 and up, so it’s a way for teens that are too young for jobs to participate and get a head start for a future job search.”
