Niles SWAT Situation
SWAT and State Police called to Harlem and Dempster on March 25, 2018
Law enforcement was called on a car of teens heading south on Harlem at Dempster on Sunday, March 25, 2018.
Morton Grove, Niles and IL State Police responded to the scene, with guns drawn, demanding the occupants of the vehicle exit. Occupants complied and no further physical action was necessary.
Witnesses say they saw the stopped vehicle traveling south bound on Harlem, past Dempster, at a high rate of speed when Law enforcement stopped the vehicle and demanded the occupants leave the vehicle. Law enforcement had it's weapons drawn and aimed at the vehicle until the occupants removed themselves.
