No Lead in Water at St. John Brebeuf, Archdiocese Finds
All water fixtures at the Niles Catholic school were found to be below the EPA's action level for lead.

NILES, IL - All water fixtures at St. John Brebeuf School in Niles tested below the Environmental Protection Agency’s action level for lead and have been deemed safe.
The Archdiocese of Chicago tested water sources at all 180 of its schools recently. At St. John, the Archdiocese recently noted that there would be “no action required.”
Of the 180 tested, 56 Chicago-area Catholic elementary and high schools have lead levels considered unsafe by federal regulations.

Of those schools, 18 of those found to have high levels are located within the city of Chicago while the remaining were located in the suburbs of Lake and Cook counties.
