Students and maybe a few teachers celebrated following an early morning announcement that all classes at Golf Middle School (District 67) we're canceled for Thursday, November 9, due to a broken water main in front of the school. As of 8 AM Thursday morning, a crew of workers could be seen excavating a large hole in the ground in front of the school's southern parking lot off of Waukegan Road.
