• Shorter Height, Earlier Delivery: Niles Set To Receive New $2M Ladder Truck (journal-topics.com) — Niles is about to put a brand-new $2 million aerial tiller ladder truck into service at Fire Station No. 2, solving long-standing clearance headaches at Dempster and Cumberland. Ordered in 2023 and prepaid to save nearly $249,000, the shorter Pierce Enforcer will arrive years ahead of schedule and move the current Tower 2 into reserve status.
