Here's what's happening Today in Niles and Morton Grove for Tuesday, Sept. 10.

The Niles 2030 Plan Implementation committee meets from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The Rock, Paper, Scissors tournament will be held starting at 5:30 Tuesday at the Morton Grove Library. Kids in Grades 1 to 6 compete by grade level, then the winners of all the grade levels compete in the final round. And a champion will be crowned. Very exciting stuff!
Register now for kids' figure skating and hockey classes at Niles Park District's Iceland. They start Oct. 1.
Looking (slightly) ahead: A 9/11 remembrance ceremony will be held at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11 at Park Ridge Fire Station #35, located at 901 W. Devon Ave. (at Cumberland), Park Ridge. Niles has not scheduled a ceremony. Morton Grove had a moment of silence at its village board meeting Monday.
