Elderly Man Struck and Killed by SUV in Niles
The man, 84, was in a crosswalk when he was hit.
An 84-year-old man died after being struck by an SUV Friday morning in Niles, Chicago Sun-Times reports.
The man was walking in a crosswalk in the 8900 block of Golf Road, when a Dodge Durango westbound on Golf hit him in the center lane.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is being withheld pending notification of his family.

The driver of the car, a 56-year-old Evanston man, remained at the scene and is cooperating with police. No charges or citations had been issued as of Friday morning.
