I'm sharing this request from a great veterans' group, American Women Veterans (Not every GI is a Joe)...please pass it on far and wide. A great way to honor our many women who have served and sacrificed for us. My experience is they too often are overlooked as being veterans and are not sufficiently recognized for their service.
The American Women Veterans is looking for vintage pictures of Women in Service. If you or your family member has a picture and would like it to be displayed at the Veterans Day Parade in NYC please send us your pictures with permission to use it.
