St. John Brebeuf’s Concert Series Continues with Elijah Concert. Next is Messiah!
A stirring performance of Elijah by renowned composer Felix Mendelssohn was presented Oct. 26 by the Musica Lumina Chamber Orchestra and the Niles Metropolitan Chorus at St. John Brebeuf Church, Niles.
Starring David Govertsen of Park Ridge in the title role and conducted by Music Director Marek Rachelski, the concert was the first of three Rev. Stanley Rudcki Commemorative Concerts in honor of the founder of the Niles Symphony Orchestra.
