"Differences" have caused decision to place Superintendent Nanciann Gatta and Assistant Superintendent John Heintz on paid leave.

The top two administrators in Niles Township High School District 219 have agreed to take paid leave due to “differences” between the two and the board of education.
An email announced the decision made during a special meeting Monday night to place Superintendent Nanciann Gatta and Assistant Superintendent for Operations/Chief Legal Officer John Heintz on leave, according to the Chicago Tribune.
The email also indicated the board has hired a forensic technology consulting firm, accounting firm and a pair of law firms for “legal counsel to assist the board in review of particular employment-related matters.”
