Winter Exploration Days with the Forest Preserves of Cook County!

Celebrate the Final Days of Winter by Participating in Winter-Themed Nature Activities with the Forest Preserves of Cook County!

All are encouraged to step out of the house and experience an afternoon of exciting winter-based nature activities with the Cook County Forest Preserves!

Winter Exploration Days
Saturday, March 7th, 2015 - Noon to 4:00 p.m.
Caldwell Woods, 6350 W. Devon Avenue, Chicago

Youth and families, join us for winter adventure and fun with activities like sledding and snowshoeing (depending on snow conditions), dog sled demonstration, winter adaptation of local animals, bird feeders, climate patterns, winter-based shelter building and a toasty campfire. Come for the day or just an hour!
