A World of Miniature Sculptured Figures and More Awaits You October 14!

Looking to see examples of the models you built in your youth? Want to see examples of art in miniature featuring a variety of subjects? Then make plans to come and roam from table to table gazing at some of the area's best hand-painted miniatures. See planes or ships, maybe tanks or soldiers. Witness the art that is the world-wide hobby of miniature figures that extends well beyond military subjects. This show is perfect for families and kids of all ages and adults who want to explore their creative side and learn how to express their inner miniature artist.

The MMSI (Military Miniature Society of Illinois) who are hosting their Annual Show welcoming a diversity of subjects for their artists to share with the public. The show will be held on October 14, 2017 from 9 am to 5 pm at the Chicago Marriott Schaumburg Hotel located at 50 Martingale Road, Schaumburg, IL 60173 (very near the Woodfield Shopping Mall). Admission is $10, free for those 12 and younger accompanied by an adult and active military with ID. There is plenty of free parking.

What the visitor will see is a wide array of hand-painted miniature figures of many sizes and subjects from military subjects, sports figures, movie stars, fantasy creations along with airplanes, ships, vehicles and more. A myriad of styles and subjects representing all historical periods from ancient Rome right up through today's conflicts and representing beginners to award-winning artists.
