• Holiday weekend storms leave Village Hall in North Aurora, Illinois, flooded with wastewater (cbsnews.com) — North Aurora’s Village Hall is temporarily disrupted after nine inches of July 4th weekend rain sent wastewater flooding through offices, hallways, and stairs. Village services like water bill payments and building permits continue online and at the public works facility, and officials hope to hold the July 20 board meeting back at Village Hall or, if needed, at the police department.
