A Northbrook man was sentenced to two years of probation as a sex offender and limited internet access after he pleaded guilty to having child pornography on his computer and a jump drive, the Chicago Tribune reports.

Norman Eisenberg, 73, pleaded guilty Monday to possession of child pornography. He must register as a sex offender for the rest of his life, which requires him to stay away from minors and give a DNA sample for the registry's database, the Tribune reports.

As part of his sentence, he also is not allowed to own a cell phone with internet access and can only use one computer for email and financial transactions, the report stated. Violation of his probation could result in going to prison for seven years, the report added.
