Northbrook Man Charged with Child Porn

A Northbrook man arrested Tuesday has been released from custody, but on electronic monitoring after being charged with possession of child pornography.

Northbrook police issued a search warrant on a residence in the 3900 block of Dundee Road on Tuesday and apprehended Norman Eisenberg, who was charged with one count of offense. Eisenberg appeared in bond court on Wednesday and was released on a $75,000 bond with electronic home monitoring.

According to a Northbrook Police Department release, an investigation was conducted by the department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force after information was received via the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding the uploads of child pornography to a cloud storage service.

Eisenberg is due to appear in court on January 13, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at 5600 Old Orchard Road in Skokie.
