NORTHBROOK, IL — The following information comes from the Northbrook Police Department and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced. SUSPENDED DRIVER'S LICENSE
Jairo Mancrea Rojas, of Wheeling, is accused of failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident, driving while license suspended, failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and was arrested at 8:46 a.m. April 24, at Dundee and Midway roads. The Northbrook police and fire departments were responding to an injury auto crash in which Mancrea Rojas was one of the drivers. Both drivers involved were treated for injuries at the scene, but did not need to be taken to a hospital. A court date of May 26 was assigned.

THEFT
August F. Pusateri, of Mundelein, is accused of theft, and was arrested at 1:21 p.m. April 27, in the 600 block of Skokie Boulevard. Police said Pusateri had walked into a restaurant on April 4, ordered $79.90 worth of food, and then fled the restaurant without paying. A court date of June 2 was assigned.
IDENTITY THEFT
Adriel Djedovic, of Northbrook, is accused of identity theft, and was arrested at 10:34 a.m. April 28, in the 800 block of Skokie Boulevard. The complainant said he lived in Virginia and an someone had used their fast food app to place an order at a restaurant in Northbrook. The complainant never gave anyone permission to use his app for the purchase or to charge him the bill ($43.27). The restaurant worked with the Northbrook Police Department and advised the defendant, Djedovic, that the order was ready. When Djedovic came into the restaurant and accepted the illegally placed meal, he was taken into custody. Djedovic made a statement on how he obtained the complainant’s information online. A court date of April 30.
ATTEMPTED RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
A resident of the 3100 block of Highland Road reported at 12:11 p.m. April 25, he had found damage to his bedroom window, which appeared to have been tampered with. After reviewing his surveillance system, he discovered it had recorded someone trying to open the window on the previous date when the complainant was gone. The person did not get into the house.
THEFT
VANDALISM
The Northbrook Park District reported at 7:48 a.m. April 28, that someone had placed several stickers all over their electrical box at their baseball field. Prior to this incident, the same electrical box had graffiti written on it. The staff does not know who has done the vandalism.
TIKTOK SCAM
A Western Avenue resident reported at 2:21 p.m. April 28, that she had found a TikTok user selling concert tickets for $990. Since it was a sold-out show, the complainant agreed to the price. The user requested the money to be sent through a separate app and the remaining funds to be given through Apple gift cards and Bitcoin. The complainant agreed. When the user asked for more money, the complainant realized it was a scam and requested a refund. The user never sent the money back.
