The North Suburban YMCA is hosting Senior PLAYooza, a free community event that brings senior adults together for games, social connection, and physical activities that support mind and body wellness on May 12 at 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. The event begins with “Supporting Brain Health in Our Community,” a Lunch & Learn presented by the Alzheimer’s Association alongside local wellness experts, featuring practical strategies to support lifelong brain health, as well as a complimentary meal provided by the Association. Following the presentation, attendees can enjoy a variety of hosted games, raffle prizes, and stretching breaks at their own pace while connecting and socializing in a welcoming environment.
