Cancer Wellness Center Stepping Up To Wellness Run/Walk - Virtual
Register by April 26, 2020 Run on your own schedule and social distance!

NORTHBROOK, IL (APRIL 2020) - Due to the current Corona virus crisis, the Cancer Wellness Center Stepping Up to Wellness Run/Walk, originally scheduled to be held on April 26 at Independence Grove, bringing over a thousand people together to run, walk or stroll with family for our cause, will go VIRTUAL!
The Northbrook, IL-based Cancer Wellness Center (CWC) has reformatted their Stepping Up To Wellness Run/Walk to allow CWC participants, families and friends to still come together VIRTUALLY as a community, even while social distancing, to help raise much needed funds to improve the emotional and physical well-being of people affected by cancer.
The virtual race allows registrants to run or walk from any location they choose - on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill or on the track - while being mindful of the 6-foot distancing protocol. The self-paced race can be completed whenever and wherever chosen, between now and May 26th. Everyone can participate virtually and support the Cancer Wellness Center.

Despite these uncertain times, the need to support CWC's mission has not changed, nor has its importance diminished. They are still delivering nearly all of their normal services, as well as adding new videoconference programs on an ongoing basis.
Participation and donations raise funds and awareness to support the Center’s unparalleled free programs and services that improve the lives of individuals and their family members impacted by a cancer diagnosis.
