Yuri Sardarov says school had "the best instruction" in sports, academics and arts.

Sardarov, stars as Brian “Otis” Zvonecek on the show depicting the rescue squad and paramedics of Chicago Firehouse 51. His acting start came there, participating in school plays produced by Mike Tarjan, now assistant principal at the school. He remembers Sardarov being unsure of his future plans while at the school.
“Like most teenagers, but then something clicked and he really focused on acting his senior year. He also got on the speech team,” Tarjan said.
