Brie Katz Of Northbrook Makes Dean's List At RIT
Brie Katz, of Northbrook, was named to the Dean's List at Rochester Institute of Technology for the 2020 Fall Semester. Katz is in the applied mathematics program. Undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their GPA is greater than or equal to 3.40 for nine credits of traditionally graded coursework; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete," NE, D, or F; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

Augustana College's Fall Semester Dean's List Announced
Augustana College announced more than 1,100 students were named to the Dean's List for the 2020-21 fall semester. Students who have earned this academic honor have maintained a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a four-point scale for courses taken during the term. The following local students have been named to the dean's list.
- Emma Cintado, of Northbrook Cintado is majoring in Teaching Spanish.
- Anthony Norberg, of Northbrook. Norberg is majoring in Public Health.
- Brigette Ricaurte, of Northbrook. Ricaurte is majoring in Public Health.

Ocasek Named Athlete of the Week At DePauw University
Following his performance at the Wittenberg Triangular meet, DePauw's Michael Ocasek, of Northbrook, was named the North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Track and Field Disrance/Mid-Distance Athlete of the Week. The honor was Ocasek's second of this indoor season as he earned similar honors on February 1. At Wittenberg, Ocasek won the mile in 4:17.40.
