Local students make dean's list at University of Wisconsin-Whitewater

The following students were named to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Dean's List for the 2020 spring semester:

• Chiara D'Orazi, of Northbrook
• Andrzej Golota, of Northbrook
• Zachary Levin, of Northbrook
• David Rubin, of Northbrook
• Benjamin Spengel, of Northbrook

These students have demonstrated their academic abilities by receiving a grade point average of 3.4 or above in a single semester.

Dischinger inducted into Theta Alpha Kappa at Wheaton College

Wheaton College student David Dischinger, of Northbrook, was recently inducted into the Theta Alpha Kappa: National Honor Society for Religious Studies and Theology. This honor was announced at Wheaton College's Honors Convocation ceremony.
To be eligible for induction into Theta Alpha Kappa, undergraduate students must have completed three semesters and have earned a 3.5 GPA in Religious and Theological Studies, a 3.0 GPA overall and be ranked in at least the upper 35 percent of their class in general scholarship at the time of induction.

Local Residents named to Bradley University's 2020 Spring Dean's List

More than 2600 students were named to Bradley's Dean's List for Spring 2020. To be eligible for the Dean's List a student must achieve a minimum 3.5 grade point average for the semester on a 4.0 scale.

Erik Karpinski, of Northbrook, majoring in Mechanical Engineering
Zigmey Thukka, of Northbrook, majoring in Mechanical Engineering
Jax Mosquera, of Northbrook, majoring in Psychology
Antonio Duca, of Northbrook, majoring in Psychology
