Coworkers Brawl Over Piece Of Equipment: Northbrook Police Blotter
Police arrested the duo, who said they were not injured during the fight.

NORTHBROOK, IL — The following information comes from the Northbrook Police Department and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless found guilty in court beyond a reasonable doubt.
ARRESTS
RETAIL THEFT
Ryan Ward, of Palatine, had a warrant from the DuPage County Sheriff's Office for retail theft, and was arrested at 1:08 p.m. Aug. 11, at the Northbrook Police Department, 1400 block of Landwehr Road. He was released on a cash bond. A court date of Sept. 9 was assigned.

BATTERY
Davida Williams and Kara Griffin, employees at a business in the 2400 block of Dundee Road, are accused of battery and were arrested at 3:05 p.m. Aug. 12. Witnesses said the two coworkers got into a physical altercation over a piece of equipment. Both said they were not injured. A court date of Sept. 28 was assigned.

SUSPENDED REGISTRATION
Ramaj J. Mathews, of Peoria, is accused of having an expired registration, a suspended registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and was arrested at 2:45 a.m. Aug. 13, in the 2100 block of Landwehr Road. A court date of Aug. 28 was assigned.
SPEEDING
Jonnathan W. Criollo Zhunio, of Chicago, is accused of speeding 30 mph over the speed limit (78 mph in a 40 mph zone), having an expired registration, no front license plate, and was arrested at 5:27 a.m. Aug. 13. A court date of Sept. 18 was assigned.
NO DRIVER'S LICENSE
Jesus Duran, of Chicago, is accused of having no driver's license, speeding (62 mph in a 45 mph zone), and was arrested at 6:48 a.m. Aug. 14, in the 2400 block of Dundee Road. A court date of Sept. 18 was assigned.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS TO PROPERTY
Donald R. Sanders is accused of criminal damage to property, criminal trespass to residence, and was arrested at 2:10 p.m Aug. 14, in the 3800 block of Bordeaux Drive. Sanders reportedly broke into a house through the basement window and surprised the homeowner that was inside. After the homeowner asked what he was doing inside his house, Sanders fled. The officers located Sanders about one block away. A court date of Sept. 8 was assigned.

INCIDENTS
FLEEING AND ELUDING
Police saw a grey Lexus LS350 parked on the street with its parking lights on at 2:41 a.m. Aug. 14, at Shermer and Willow roads. The driver of the vehicle noticed the officer and fled at a high rate of speed. The officer saw the Lexus disobey a stop sign and a traffic light. The officer activated the emergency lights, but the vehicle fled the area. Several adjoining municipalities attempted to stop the vehicle, but had negative results.
THEFT FROM VEHICLE
The staff of a business in the 1800 block of Techny Road reported at 2:10 p.m. Aug. 17, someone stole one of the license plates off one of the company’s vehicles. The company is now receiving toll violations regarding that plate in other states.
