'Disorderly Subject' Turns Out To Be Man With Warrant: Blotter

NORTHBROOK, IL — The following information comes from the Northbrook Police Department as a record of incidents reported to the police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless found guilty in court beyond a reasonable doubt.

INCIDENTS

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

  • A resident in the 400 block of Alice Drive reported that someone damaged their mailbox between 10 and 11:45 a.m. on July 8.
  • A resident in the 2500 block of Windsor Lane reported that someone damaged their lamp post prior to July 1.

IDENTITY THEFT
A Stonebridge Lane resident reported on the afternoon of July 8 that someone had opened up an unauthorized credit account using their identity.

THEFT
A resident in the 200 block of Southgate Drive reported around 9 p.m. on July 9 that someone stole parts from a Power Wheels toy that had been left in the front yard.

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

A 64-year-old Evanston man was arrested around 4:15 p.m. on July 8 and charged with driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop in the area of Dundee Road and Downing Street. Police also ticketed him for improper lane usage.

Timothy Lucas, 34, of the first block of West Chicago Avenue, Chicago, was arrested around 7 p.m. on July 9 in the 1400 block of Shermer Road. Officers called to a report that Lucas was acting disorderly found that he had outstanding DuPage County warrant issued in connection with a failure to appear in court.

Eduardo Romero-Tejada, 35, of the 7000 block of North Ridge Boulevard, Chicago, was arrested around 12:30 a.m. on July 11 and charged with driving under the influence following a traffic stop in the area of Willow and Shermer roads. He was also issued a citation for improper lane usage.
