District 28 Announces Back to School Events

Northbrook School District 28 has outlined important upcoming dates as they pertain to the start of the 2015-16 school year.

Aug. 17 – New Teacher Orientation Begins
Aug. 19 - 6th Grade Orientation, 8:30 a.m. Northbrook Junior High
Aug. 19 – Meadowbrook New Family Orientation, 6 p.m.
Aug. 20 – 7th and 8th Grade Supply Pick-up 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Aug. 21 – Westmoor New Student Orientation – 9 a.m.
Aug. 24 – Westmoor, Greenbriar and Meadowbrook Meet the Teacher – 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Aug. 25 – First Day of School For All Grades
Aug. 25 - Board of Education meeting, 7 p.m., HOH Community Room, 1475 Maple Ave.
Aug. 26 – Opening Day for Young Explorers Early Childhood Program at Westmoor School.
