Drunk Driver With No Lights Only Labor Day Arrest: Blotter

NORTHBROOK, IL — The following information comes from the Northbrook Police Department as a record of incidents reported to the police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations that are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless found guilty in court beyond a reasonable doubt.
INCIDENTS
VANDALISM
A resident in the 1400 block of Sycamore Lane reported that someone threw eggs at their car parked on the street between 10 p.m. Sept. 1 and 9 a.m. on Sept. 2.

IDENTITY THEFT
A Summerton Place resident reported on the afternoon of Sept. 5 that an unauthorized payment had appeared on their bank statement.

ARRESTS/CITATIONS
A 40-year-old Skokie man was arrested at 12:47 a.m. on Sept. 2 and charged with driving with a revoked license after he was pulled over near the intersection of Lake Cook Road and Skokie Boulevard. He was also issued citations for improper lane usage and an open container of alcohol.
Tyler J. Weskerna, 28, of the 300 block of Winding Trail in Genoa, was arrested at 11:13 p.m. on Sept. 3 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after police on routine patrol noticed him driving with an equipment violation and pulled him over near the intersection of Dundee and Lee roads. He was also issued citations for driving with no lights, a median violation and illegal transportation of alcohol.
Hector Reyes-Sanchez, 53, of the 400 block of Windermire Way in Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 9:15 p.m. on Sept. 4 and charged with driving under the influence and driving with a revoked license following a traffic stop for an equipment violation near the intersection of Dundee and Huehl roads. He was also issued a citation for an obstructed windshield.
