Election Day Poll Workers Wanted: Staff Needed In Chicago Suburbs
Suburban Cook County needs election judges and equipment managers for the primary election on March 20.

County election officials are recruiting poll workers for election day ahead of the March 20 primary election. Election judges and equipment managers are needed around suburban Cook County, according to a release from Cook County Clerk David Orr. Both positions help voters and make sure polling places are running smoothly on election day.
Equipment managers work directly with election judges and are responsible for setting up and maintaining voting equipment. The position requires extra training and carries more responsibilities than the job of election judge.
Election judges earn $190 for the day while equipment managers will earn $340, according to the release. College students and high school juniors and seniors were also invited to serve at polling places.
