Fourteen GBN Grads Awarded Homer O. Harvey Scholarships
Named in honor of a former superintendent, the scholarship is offered to outstanding graduates of District 28 schools.

NORTHBROOK, IL — This year, fourteen Glenbrook North High School graduates were awarded the Homer O. Harvey Scholarship, and each of the winners will receive a $1,000 scholarship toward second semester college tuition.
Dr. Homer O. Harvey was a longtime District 28 superintendent. Sponsored by the district's PTO Council, the scholarship fund in his name was established in 1989. Since then, $293,500 in scholarships have been awarded to 329 graduates of the district.
Harvey dedicated his professional career to providing high standards of excellence and learning for children, and his family remains involved with the scholarship selection committee, according to the district.
