Free vacinations & booster shots available

Booster shots will be available at the second free vaccination clinic

hosted by North Northfield United Methodist Church at Sanders &
Dundee in partnership with the Illinois Department of Public Health on
Tuesday, Oct. 5 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Education Building.

• Pfizer boosters — available to people 18 and older at least six months after their second dose.

• Moderna — available for immunocompromised people (given one month after the second dose).

• Johnson & Johnson — not yet approved for boosters.

If receiving a booster shot, please bring your original vaccination card
with you so it can be updated. For the most advantageous efficacy and
to protect your safety, please observe official guidance concerning

People receiving their first Pfizer or Moderna vaccination at this
clinic will be referred to their local health department for their
second dose.
