• Woman Charged With Financial Exploitation Of Elderly: Northbrook Blotter (patch.com) — Northbrook police report a local woman has been charged with multiple felonies for allegedly exploiting an elderly relative through unauthorized checks, one of several recent cases in town. The weekly blotter also details DUI, assault, fraud, identity theft, and theft incidents across Northbrook neighborhoods and business districts, along with upcoming court dates for several defendants. 
• Cook County Approves $704K For Northbrook Bridge Rehabilitation (patch.com) — Cook County has approved more than $700,000 to rehabilitate the Sanders Road Bridge over I-294 in Northbrook, a project that will affect a key local route. Northbrook is also included in a broader $19.55 million north Cook County pavement rehabilitation package, promising resurfacing, curb and sidewalk work, and drainage repairs on several nearby corridors.
