NORTHBROOK, IL — Last fall, like many members of the student body, the Glenbrook North High School Spartan Marching Band was disappointed when the football season was postponed. The band never had a chance to perform due to the cancellation and a number of other pandemic-related challenges.

Things are scheduled to go much smoother this time around, as the band is set to perform during halftime of Friday night's football season-opener at home versus Taft. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
