'Grab and Run' Retail Theft Reported At Northbrook Neiman Marcus
Eyewitnesses told police that around 10 people were involved in the incident involving the theft of purses.

NORTHBROOK, IL — A group of around 10 males were involved in a "grab and run" retail theft incident Wednesday at the Neiman Marcus store in Northbrook Court, 1515 Lake Cook Road. According to eyewitness accounts told to the Northbrook Police Department, the males entered the store at around 5:40 p.m. and took an unknown amount of purses. The males, described as between the ages of 16-20 and wearing hoodies and masks, were in the store for less than a minute before leaving.
The males fled eastbound on Lake Cook Road in two dark-colored SUVs. A loss prevention agent was struck with a fist during the incident, but no injuries were reported. It is also believed no weapons were involved.
