Grill House Northbrook Introduces Nightly Greek-Inspired Dinner Specials

Guests at Grill House now have even more to look forward to at dinnertime. The popular Northbrook restaurant has introduced a new lineup of nightly dinner specials, featuring a rotating selection of chef-driven dishes inspired by traditional Greek recipes and hearty comfort classics.

Available every evening starting at 3:00 p.m., the specials highlight both authentic Mediterranean flavors and slow-cooked favorites, offering something delicious every night of the week.

The weekly lineup includes:

Monday – Pastichio: A traditional Greek baked lasagna layered with seasoned ground meat, tender pasta and creamy béchamel, finished golden and bubbling from the oven.

Tuesday – Greek-Style Duroc Pork Chop: A thick, juicy Duroc pork chop seasoned with Greek herbs, grilled to perfection and served with bright Mediterranean flavors.

Wednesday – Gemista: Classic Greek comfort food featuring peppers stuffed with a savory blend of rice, herbs and aromatics, baked until tender and flavorful.

Thursday – Brown Butter Pasta with Bolognese Sauce: Rich, slow-simmered Bolognese served over pasta tossed in nutty brown butter for a comforting and deeply satisfying dish.

Friday – Sea Bass: Fresh, flaky sea bass simply prepared to highlight its natural flavor, finished with light Mediterranean seasoning.

Saturday – 24-Hour Braised Beef: Tender beef slowly braised for a full day until melt-in-your-mouth soft, served in a rich, savory sauce.

Sunday – Boneless Leg of Lamb: A Greek family favorite—slow-roasted boneless leg of lamb seasoned with garlic, lemon and herbs for a deeply flavorful finish.

For Nick Drivas, owner of Grill House, these dishes represent more than just great food - they reflect family traditions and recipes passed down through generations.

“We’re excited to bring these specials to our guests and share some of the dishes I grew up with,” said Drivas, who opened Grill House in 2017. “Many of these recipes have been in my family for years,” he added. “They’re the kinds of meals we’ve enjoyed around our own table, and it means a lot to be able to share those flavors and traditions with our customers.”

Drivas says Greek food has always been closely tied to family gatherings and hospitality. “In Greek culture, food is really about family,” he continued. “Some of my favorite memories are sitting around the table with relatives while these dishes were cooking in the kitchen. The recipes are simple, but they’re made with care and tradition. Being able to bring those same flavors to our guests here at Grill House is something I’m very proud of.”
