HOH 5K Race To Raise Funds For District 28 Seniors This Weekend
The annual Homer O. Harvey Run/Walk/Fun Run will kickoff Saturday at 8 a.m. at Northbrook Junior High.
The annual race organized to raise scholarship funds for District 28 seniors is set for this weekend.
The Homer O. Harvey 5K Run/Walk/Fun Run will begin at 8 a.m. on Saturday, May 16 at Northbrook Junior High, 1475 Maple Avenue.
In addition to the course, an obstacle course race will be set up for children in fifth grade and younger and a pre-race shuffle.

Businesses and families are invited to donate at a variety of levels or underwrite part of the race. Sponsors thus far include Buffalo Wild Wings, Go Technology Group, Lake Front Chiropractic, Meatheads, Potbelly Sandwich Shop, RoadID, Roti Mediterranean Grill, Sac 9 Nails, Sunset Foods and Thometz & Uhland Orthodontics.

Last year, the race raised more than $6,000 for college scholarships.
