NORTHBROOK, IL — The following information comes from the Northbrook Police Department as a record of incidents reported to the police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless found guilty in court beyond a reasonable doubt.
INCIDENTS
CREDIT CARD FRAUD
A Center Avenue resident reported on the evening of April 11 that their bank had notified them that three suspicious charges had been attempted on their credit account.
HOME BURGLARY
Someone burglarized a home in the 2200 block of White Oak Drive prior to 9:39 p.m. on April 14. The resident's belongings were rummaged through but it was not known if anything had been stolen at the time of the report.

FRAUD
A Briarwood Lane resident reported on the evening of April 15 that they had noticed a pair of unauthorized transactions on their bank account on a recent statement.

ARRESTS
A 51-year-old Chicago man was arrested around 8:30 p.m. on April 14 and charged with driving with a revoked license following a traffic stop for an equipment violation in the area of Dundee Road and Anthony Trail. He was also issued citations for failure to signal and driving with an obstructed windshield.
Fernando Montesino-Rojas, 37, of the 200 block of 8th Street, Wheeling, was arrested around 7 p.m. on April 17 and charged with driving under the influence and driving with a revoked license following a traffic stop in the area of Dundee and Sanders roads. He was also issued citations for illegal transportation of an open container of alcohol and disobeying a traffic control device.
