Man Hits 2 Parked Cars While Driving on His Rims: Cops

DUI
Scott F. Schlansky, 32, of the 4000 block of Applewood Lane, was arrested and charged with felony driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol content over the legal limit, driving without proof of insurance, driving with a revoked license and driving on unsafe tires after a June 16 traffic stop.

Police stopped Schlansky at about 5:16 p.m. June 16 at an apartment complex near Shermer Road and Walters Avenue after a 911 call saying a vehicle was traveling on its rims. At the time, Schlansky hit two vehicles as he was trying to pull in to a space.
Officers determined Schlansky was under the influence at the scene and arrested him.

DUI
Jennifer Ryan, 39, of the 0-100 block of Carlisle Road, Hawthorne Woods, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol content over the legal limit and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after a June 13 crash.

While investigating an accident at Willow Road and Greenview Drive, police determined Ryan was under the influence and arrested her. She was released on $1,000 bail, and her court date is July 18.
DUI
Jeremiah King, 20, of the 300 block of Manning Drive, Wooddale, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of drugs, driving without insurance and improper lane use after a June 14 traffic stop.
Police pulled over King at about 11:36 a.m. at Shermer Road near Raymond Drive after receiving a report of a 2007 Dodge pickup driving erratically. During the stop, officers determined King was under the influence, and he was arrested.
King was released on $1,000 bail, and his court date is July 18.
