Meadowbrook Raises More Than $400 For Chicago School
Sister school received $430 from the Northbrook elementary school to buy books for students.
NORTHBROOK, IL - Families at Meadowbrook Elementary School in Northbrook raised more than $400 to buy books for its sister school, Joseph Lovett Elementary School in Chicago during the Scholastic Book Fair held last week.
More than $300 of the $420 amount raised came from a popsicle sale initiated by Kathryn Mazzarella’s class.
The PTO Book Fair Committee organized the drive as part of the All for Books program.
