The members of the New Tradition Chorus are happy to begin their 40th anniversary year by saying goodbye to Zoom rehearsals and returning to their regular, in-person sessions on Tuesday evenings at Temple Beth El in Northbrook. The New Tradition Chorus, an all-male a cappella chorus with members of all ages from Chicago and the suburbs, is known for its four-part harmony and its broad repertoire.
As they begin their 40th year together, the Chorus is also excited to have a new director, Mitch Greenberg. Greenberg brings over ten years of directing experience.
The Chorus is inviting men of all ages who enjoy singing to visit them and their new Director any Tuesday from 7-10 at 3610 Dundee Rd. in Northbrook. In addition to having several performances locally next spring, the Chorus will compete in July at an International Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina. They have won 19 medals in the past, including the coveted Gold Medal.
