Most of Mission Hills' Lawsuit Against Red Seal Dismissed
Judge tosses four of five counts against Red Seal Development.

NORTHBROOK, IL - The Provenance development project in the Mission Hills Golf Course took a significant step forward last week when a judge dismissed four of five counts of a lawsuit initiated by seven Million Hills’ homeowners associations.
Mission Hills’ status as a planned development and its open space covenant and claims that the homeowners were denied due process before the Cook County Board approved the 187-unit development were denied, according to the Northbrook Star.
The lone count of the lawsuit to remain active is the homeowners’ claim that Red Seal’s plans will harm their views of the golf course and result in lower property values.
Red Seal has already been approved by four municipalities and awaits a permit from the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District before it can break ground on any development.
