New Medical Director Named At Northbrook Senior Living Community

NORTHBROOK, IL — Covenant Living of Northbrook has a new medical director. The not-for-profit living community recently named Dr. Christopher Ho, a physician with the Covenant Medical Group in Glenview, to serve in the role.

Ho replaces Dr. Victoria Braund, who has been the community's medical director since 2015, according to a news release. Covenant Living of Northbrook is located at 2625 Techny Road.

Ho is board-certified in internal medicine and completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Chicago-Northshore where he served an additional year as chief resident.

"Dr. Ho not only brings his medical experience to our community, but also his dedicated passion and commitment to providing quality care," said Michelle Pardun, executive director at Covenant Living of Northbrook. "We look forward to working with him in continuing to provide exceptional healthcare for our residents."

Covenant Living said that Ho's responsibilities will include "implementation and oversight of resident care policies, coordination of physician services and medical care at the community."

"I truly believe in using a holistic approach in collaboration with the patients and their families when it comes to long-term care," Ho said. "This approach aligns with Covenant Living's LifeConnect program, which is focused on eight dimensions of whole person wellness."

Covenant Living serves 5,700 residents at 19 retirement communities nationwide and is a ministry of the Evangelical Covenant Church.
